At the Salone del Mobile _Milano 2026, SOVET presents an evolution of its material research, expanding its language through new surfaces and processes designed for contemporary design. This edition also sees the introduction of a new collection of lamps, developed in a more structured way as an integral part of its offering, with the aim of complementing and enhancing its furnishings within spaces. Glass, a long-standing signature material for the company, communicates with ceramics, textured glass and new textiles, giving rise to solutions that explore the relationship between light, depth and perception, now further expanded thanks to the introduction of lighting.
Such path is accompanied by a concrete commitment to sustainability, which translates into low-impact production processes, the use of renewable energy and the selection of high-quality materials designed to last. This approach enhances Made in Italy and local craftsmanship by entrusting skilled craftsmen under the artistic direction of Gianluigi Landoni.
In this design evolution, the new collection unfolds into an increasingly comprehensive system that includes tables, coffee tables, storage units, seats and lamps, designed to communicate with each other through a coherent material language. The Iodo table interprets a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic, in which the surface plays a central role. The new Silky ceramics introduce a softer and more refined visual quality, available in the Yamuna Opal and Yamuna Moka finishes, capable of reflecting light in a diffused and controlled manner, emphasizing the material's depth. In contrast, the Trium coffee tables develop a more fluid and organic dimension, with shapes that recall natural elements and expand the collection's formal vocabulary while maintaining an overall coherence. The Alika and Brook chairs explore the relationship between structure and comfort through a balance between rigor and warmth. The new upholsteries — Marmolada, featuring a contemporary, textured finish, and the Snoop and Lady chenille fabrics — introduce a more sensorial component, enriching the product's perceptual experience. Lighting represents a natural evolution in the company's journey, expanding an existing presence with the introduction of a more comprehensive collection. The Sphera, Cloche, and Willow lamps are born from glass-working processes interpreted through different approaches that enhance the dialogue between craftsmanship and innovation. Sphera, crafted from Murano glass, perfectly embodies the glassmaking tradition, while Cloche adopts a more technological language through the use of mirrored borosilicate glass obtained through a sputtering process, capable of creating deep, controlled reflections. Light is interpreted as an active design element, capable of enhancing depth, reflections and texture. The new finishes reinforce this approach: glossy surfaces in champagne, bronze and mirrored tones amplify reflections, while transparent smoked and bronze textured glass modulates light, creating deeper and more layered atmospheres. Among the new finishes available for the entire collection, the black smoked Materia glass introduces a more intense and compact presence. Its texture and depth, reminiscent of lava stone, add a natural and more material dimension to the project, helping to define a balance between lightness and presence.
In such system, material and light work together to create coherent environments where each element contributes to the definition of a precise design identity, shaping spaces where perception, function and aesthetics are harmoniously integrated.
