MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2025

At the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025, Sovet presents a new chapter in its creative journey, with a selection that combines research in materials, aesthetic refinement and a design capable of dialoguing with the languages of contemporary living. At the heart of the exhibition is a significant expansion of the company's Material Library, confirming its ongoing commitment to quality and sustainability. Among the main new features is the introduction of Dekton, an ultra-compact, carbon-neutral material inspired by natural stone and appreciated for its resistance to impact, scratches and stains. This choice represents a decisive step towards a more responsible design without compromising the beauty of the surfaces.
 
Alongside this innovation, Sovet offers new matte ceramic finishes inspired by natural earth tones such as Breccia Reale and Travertino Stone Beige, which join an already wide and well-established range, offering new expressive opportunities for elegant interior design. The selection of metals is also enriched by the Sabbia finish, a sophisticated and versatile shade designed to enhance the most contemporary material combinations.
 
The new collections introduced at the Salone reflect a coherent and articulated design vision. The Bone collection, designed by Gianluigi Landoni, offers tables, coffee tables and consoles with a minimal aluminium structure and tops available in a variety of materials and finishes. Its essential design fits discreetly and elegantly into any space, defining balanced and harmonious environments. Marialaura Irvine, on the other hand, designed Fusion, an artistic mirror available in different colour combinations that plays with opacity and reflections to transform the perception of space, offering a scenographic and poetic point of view. With Origami, designed by Altherr Désile Park, the mirror becomes a sculpture: inspired by the Japanese art of paper-folding, it comes in precious finishes – gold, rose, silver, bronze and smoked – that give life to dynamic and fascinating geometric compositions.
 
Sovet's research is also expressed through Studio Sovet collections, which continue to offer versatile and evolving products. The armchair Alisia is completed by a matching footrest and a new range of finishes, while Xenial features a comfortable seat with a minimalist design, a handcrafted wooden frame with integrated armrests, for a perfect balance between comfort and aesthetics. Olly reinvents itself with a series of stools in two different heights, with or without backrest, designed to adapt easily to any context. The York mirror combines traditional charm with the clean lines of contemporary design, while Orbit stands out for the balance between the turned aluminium frame and the brightness of the central mirror, in a play of reflections of refined simplicity.
 
Among the most interesting developments, the Slim collection is enriched by the Slim Daybed, designed by Matthias Demacker: a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be transformed into a sofa, ottoman or bed thanks to its adjustable and removable backrests. Finally, the iconic Bridge and Zeta models are offered in a new version with a Liquid Glass finish, demonstrating Sovet's desire to reinterpret its classics through innovative and contemporary materials.
 
With this rich offering, Sovet reaffirms its role on the international design scene, demonstrating how research, sustainability and design culture can come together in collections that stand the test of time, excite and transform space into an experience.
